Two men are sitting on top of a hill in Maseru waiting for their papers from the Native Recruitment Council which allow them to come and work in South Africa. While waiting, a lot happens.
Zakes Mda takes us on a journey which results in this production with a mental and spiritual hill, the diverse people who go past the hill daily represent souls which are on this search for something to happen in their lives.
