The Beatrix Potter’s delightful story for children, The Tale of Peter Rabbit, will be at Artscape Theatre Centre during the April school holiday, presented by Stagecraft Drama Studio.
The Rabbit family, Mrs Rabbit with her bunnies Peter and his sisters, Flopsy, Mopsy, Cotton-tail live under the roots of a big tree in the garden of Mr and Mrs McGregor. Peter loves to eat the vegetables growing in Mr McGregor’s garden.
All the bunnies are very obedient and go to school every day, except for Peter. Peter disregards all the advice from his mother and sisters and is soon in trouble!! After running away from Mr McGregor and hiding in the gardening shed and in the watering can, he gets caught in the gooseberry net.

When Peter gets home Mrs Rabbit says as he’s been so disobedient, he may not have any milk or currant buns.
The Tale of Peter Rabbit is adapted by Dudley Glass, directed by Cheryl Abromowitz, starring Nathan Fredericks as Mr McGregor and Andrew Laubscher (Mrs McGregor), Mrs Rabbit is played by Alicia Ann McCormick and Julia Holzberg as Peter Rabbit. The season opens on Saturday, April 4 at 10:30 at Artscape Opera Foyer. There will be two shows daily at 10:30 and 14:30 except on Good Friday.
