Hello folks, during last night my camera, a Canon 500D was stolen from my home in St James. Someone climbed through the burglar bars in my office which is directly next to my bedroom, either a kid or a skinny adult. I am devastated, I have already screamed, it hasn't made me feel any better.
If you are based anywhere in the South Peninsula of Cape Town, please tell everyone you know to be on the lookout for my camera, someone somewhere will be offered my camera. It is a Canon 500D with an 18mm - 200 mm zoom lense, the camera has a UV filter with a chip in it. The worst part is that

since I bought this camera in June last year it has been with everywhere I have been and has spent every night in my bedroom. Yesterday evening I went to lie down after a having a really late night on Saturday with the intention of getting up later to carry on working but slept right through till this morning. This camera is a huge part of my life and I have no hope of replacing it, I was fortunate enough to have an extra car which I sold to buy this camera.
Canon 500D Serial No (21)0330142091
Canon EFS 18-200mmf/3.5-5.6 IS Lense Serial No (021)4710039192
Looking around the garden we have found a set of keys for someone else's house, on the bunch is a blue gate remote and a safe key.
