03 Jun 2010 More than a year after the release of their SAMA winning album, Die Heuwels Fantasties are back in studio.  They are currently busy recording their first single, Doodgewone Aand, from their second album.  The recording is taking place at Treehouse Studios in Hout Bay.

The single, Doodgewone Aand, is being recorded by Cedric Samson.  He has recorded Hugh Masekela's Notes of Life, Ice Cube's number 1 Billboard hit, Gansta’s make the world go round and Miriam Makeba's Grammy nominated album Homeland.  Johnny de Ridder will mix the track.

This single will be made availabe on Bakgat 2's soundtrack first.  This soundtrack will be released by Hunter Kennedy and Pierre Greeff's label, Supra Familias, and will hit the shelves in early September.
