Curb Record’s top selling South African band, Just Jinjer, announced today that they would be postponing their first major US tour due to last minute visa issues. The band had been set to travel to the states as a featured act on the Vertical Horizon Fall 2009 US tour.
They were set to leave for the US on Sunday to do a Coastal Tour with Vertical Horizon.

Just Jinjer says: “We were amped and ready to go, we are a little disappointed. On the bright side it is a good time to be home. We will be working on new material and the promotion of our upcoming EP “Milk and Honies” which will be released exclusively in South Africa in November.”
Just Jinjer has just finished the making of a new video of the current single “Milk and Honies.” The video will be released to national television stations within the next few weeks. The November release date for the EP “Milk and Honies” will be announced soon.
Formed in 1996, Just Jinjer has earned a worldwide reputation for their amazing live stage show. After the tremendous success of their debut album, All Comes Around, the band focused their efforts on touring extensively within their home country and abroad.
In just over a decade they have sold over a quarter million albums, toured with U2, Counting Crows, Live, Goo Goo Dolls, plus dozens of other popular artists. In 2008 they signed with Curb Records, home of a wide variety of successful artists including Tim McGraw, LeAnn Rimes, Wynonna, Rodney Atkins, Natalie Grant, Selah and pop sensation, Kaci.
Having to postpone the tour is a major disappointment for the band and their many US fans as their current single “What He Means” is climbing the charts and garnering critical acclaim.
The band plans to announce new US tour plans shortly.
