19 Jan 2010 Cape Town alternative/pop/rock sensations Autopilot launch the music video for the single ‘Bipolar’ off the upcoming album ‘A Broken Word’. The album was produced by Charlie Murder with executive production by the multi-award winning Theo Crous (Prime Circle, the Parlotones, the Dirty Skirts, Chris Chameleon, etc).

The launch takes place at Mercury Live on Friday 29 January 2010 and includes a half hour stand-up show by funny-man Dave Levinsohn. Dave has regularly performed at the Vodacom International festival and the Smirnoff comedy festival. Television viewers are already familiar with Dave’s quirky, irrepressible humour from his ‘Big Black Box’ ads, or possibly as the zany co-presenter in the first series of the SABC 3 TV show ‘Going Nowhere Slowly’. Dave was the winner of the pro section of the Red bull comedy jam in 2004 as well as the winner of the Nando’s most original approach to comedy in Grahamstown in 2008.

DJ SideShow will be providing entertainment between the acts and Autopilot’s sponsor Jagermeister will be on hand to give away free shooters and merchandise. Two Metal Machine tattoo and piercing vouchers are also up for grabs on the night.

The ‘Bipolar’ music video was produced by Tiny Productions who also produced Autopilot’s video for the track ‘Beautiful’ off their debut EP of the same name. ‘Beautiful’ made it to number 4 on MK TV’s Top 10 in December 2007.

Autopilot’s new album ‘A Broken Word’ boasts 11 tracks and can be expected on music store shelves soon.
