08 Jun 2009 TOP Cape Town deck-master Dean Fuel will be performing alongside World Number 1 DJ Armin Van Buuren on his Godskitchen Tour of SA in mid-June.

Performances take place in Johannesburg (MTN Expo Centre, Nasrec) on June 13 and Bellville Velodrome in Cape Town on June 15 for which Godskitchen will bring their Boombox concept (a completely unique architectural, multimedia, visual and music experience) to South Africa for the first time.

With a solid reputation & loyal following, Dean is at the forefront of the South African dance scene and has performed alongside eight out the 10 global legends including such as, Deep Dish, Sasha, John Digweed, Paul van Dyk and David Guetta.

With legendary residencies at many of the country’s top clubs including Cape Town’s Bang Bang Club and Chevelle, Dean features on all major international tours of SA, including the likes of Godskitchen, Ministry of Sound and Pacha, while current offers include shows for Paris, Dubai and London.

Apart from his distinctive and versatile music style - which fuses an intercontinental blend of minimal, funk, techno, house, electro and progressive sounds - Dean lights up dance floors with an infectious energy along with a natural flair for mixing.

“I’m a perfectionist – it makes me push my boundaries,” says Dean who nurtured an overwhelming desire to be a DJ from his teens.

One of the hardest working players in the dance scene today, Fuel’s edge also comes from his skill at creating his own music such as the vocal mix of his single “This One’s For You”, co-mixed by Dean, on the recent successful ‘House Anthem 7’ (2008) release.
