Lotus FM
Lotus FM caters for the needs of the progressive South African Indian community. It combines a mix of Indian music, news, current affairs, interviews and entertainment. Lotus FM targets South African Indians between the ages of 25-34 (core) and 35-49 (secondary) in the LSM 7-10 segment. The station has an average daily audience of 319 000.

Hi Guys

I am not sure if you are aware of this problem in the Newcastle area regarding Lotus FM reception. I always experience an intermittent break in reception. It occurs at my home, car and workplace. I will appreciate if you can investigate this problem.

I just want to say I always listen to Lotus FM in the mornings and whenever I get a chance. No matter how low down I can feel, when I turn on the radio, I feel on top of the world again.
The music rocks and you guys are simply the Best!

Hi, I refer to the recording that is aired by O' Neil on Thursday mornings, of the speech delivered by Mr Venkatesh on the US economy. I only managed to listen to the last 5mins or so of part 2. I found it very intriguing and quite true. Please advise if I could get a transcript or listen to the complete audio on the internet. I would appreciate any assistance in this regard.

Life' secret
This morning lotus FM interviewd an elderly couple at approximately 7 am.

The auntie spoke about her 8 children and 20 grand children.

Her lesson was that children at that time were not as demanding while todays children will not eat what is cooked.

The uncle spoke about respecting elders and not talking loud or in a disrespective manner therby encouraging the children to always continue living a respectfull life which they do.

I would just like to add that positive comments like these from the uncle and auntie should be played as often as possible for inspiration to newly married couples.

All positive attitudes lead to positive results and therfore Lotus FM is doing a fantastic job.

The work of lotus FM should be featured on SABC channels to all people thereby giving inspiration to all concerned.
