The five most popular Afrikaans productions which sold out at the Woordfees in Stellenbosch earlier this year, take to the stage at the Baxter Golden Arrow Studio, for two weeks only from 14 to 28 May. The season is called the Fees van die Uitverkooptes.

On Wednesday 2nd May, Cape Town theatre personalities, writers, diplomats and invited guests gathered at Magnet Theatre, Observatory to recognise the South African winners of the inaugural Theatre in Translation initiative organised by Proyecto 34°S.

The YOUNG PERFORMERS PROJECT, coordinated by the PERFORMING ARTS NETWORK OF SOUTH AFRICA (PANSA) KZN and underwritten/sponsored by RAINBOW Pty Ltd, is a musical theatre project for High School Learners, run every year from May to July in Durban.

Once again, and with much thanks to the Gordon Institute for the Performing and Creative Arts (GIPCA), the Baxter Theatre Centre and Distell, the Theatre Arts Admin Collective is able to award 4 bursaries to some of South Africa's most exciting emerging theatre directors.
